Beginning October 1, 2023, several enhancements are being implemented for the FTCE/FELE program, including:

• Official, on-site score reports for tests with multiple-choice items only.
• Updated test functionality and item presentation for French, German, and Spanish.
• The addition of on-screen scientific calculators for Mathematics 6–12, Middle Grades Mathematics 5–9, Chemistry 6–12, and Physics 6–12.
• The addition of an on-screen four-function calculator for Elementary Education K–6 Subtest 4: Mathematics.
• Updated session length for score verification reviews.
