Test Site Rules

When you register for the FTCE/FELE, you agree to comply with all the rules set forth on the current FTCE/FELE website, the rules presented to you during the online registration process, and the rules communicated to you at each test administration for which you are registered.

Violation of test site rules, including the possession or use of prohibited materials during a test administration, may result in the voiding of your scores.

The following are prohibited at the test site:

Smoking and the use of all tobacco products
Visitors, including relatives, children, and friends
Weapons of any kind

You will not be permitted to take personal belongings to the computer workstation. These must be stored as directed by the test site personnel. Please note that water bottles are not allowed in the testing room.

Prohibited Materials

If an examinee is found possessing a cell phone or an electronic prohibited aid, the examinee will not be allowed to continue testing, the test site will report this information to the Florida Department of Education, and this act of possession will result in an automatic score invalidation.

DO NOT bring any food, drinks, or any prohibited aids as outlined in the two memos from the Florida Department of Education: Important Testing Information and Agreement to the Testing Rules and Important Information About Cheating Behaviors and Test Score Invalidation. These documents are presented during registration for your agreement, are sent with your admission ticket, and are also available on this site (see "Print Documents and Forms").

Scratch paper or written notes
Dictionaries or other books of any kind
