How to Register for Pilot Testing

You may register for a pilot test up to 90 days before your desired test date. If you wish to register for a date more than 90 days from now, please wait until you reach the 90-day window. Please note that the availability of pilot test registrations is subject to current registration counts and number of pilot test participants.

Create a New Account

Go to the FTCE pilot test registration page at www.catglobal.com and follow these instructions:

1.
The first time you register to test, you must create a Test Taker account. After reading the remaining steps below, select the link to create a new account.
2.
Enter the requested information, including your Social Security number. This is required in order to issue the $50 check. At the bottom of the screen, click "SAVE."
3.
A Test Taker ID and password will appear. This ID and password will also be sent to the e-mail address you provided in your Test Taker account.
4.
Keep your ID and password. You will enter this ID and password in the computer at the test site.
5.
Click "Continue" to go to the home page.
6.
Click "Schedule a Test" under "My Tasks" in the leftmost column of links.
7.
Select "Florida Department of Education" from the dropdown menu.
8.
Select "The FTCE—Pilot Test" from the "Test Program" dropdown menu.
9.
Select the appropriate exam from the dropdown menu.
10.
Complete the reservation process by selecting a test site and testing time.

Log In to an Existing Account

If you have already created a Test Taker account, select the link below to access your account and continue with pilot testing registration. Once logged in to your account, follow these instructions:

1.
Click "Schedule a Test" under "My Tasks" in the leftmost column of links.
2.
Select "Florida Department of Education" from the dropdown menu.
3.
Select "The FTCE—Pilot Test" from the "Test Program" dropdown menu.
4.
Select the appropriate exam from the dropdown menu.
5.
Complete the reservation process by selecting a test site and testing time.
