The Florida Department of Education is currently developing several important subject areas for the Florida Teacher
Certification Examinations (FTCE). Pilot testing is designed to provide information about the test questions before they
are used on actual test forms.

| Pilot Test Sites: |
Testing will be conducted at computer-based testing centers throughout Florida. Refer to
"Pilot Test Sites" for a complete list of test sites. |
| How Do I Register? |

complete registration information. You may register for a pilot test up to 90 days before your desired test date.
If you wish to register for a date more than 90 days from now, please wait until you reach the 90-day window. |

| Key Information About Pilot Testing: |
- Pilot tests are computer based.
- Each pilot test will take up to two hours to complete.
- Each test contains multiple-choice questions.
- Teacher education students and certified educators or degree holders in the subject area of
the pilot test are the target pilot test population.
- Score information will not be provided to you, your college or university, or your school district.
- The pilot test results or scores cannot be used for teacher certification or graduation purposes.

| What Are the Benefits of Participating? |
- For each pilot test that you complete, you will be mailed a $50 check. Candidates will receive
payment only if they have demonstrated a good faith effort to answer test items correctly.
