Hurricane Irma

Hurricane Irma is now a major hurricane and currently forecasted to begin impacting parts of Florida as early as Saturday, September 9th. Due to the size, intensity, and uncertain potential path of this storm, evacuation orders have been issued for many of the most vulnerable areas of the state.

A number of test centers, including both VUE testing centers and Partner locations on university and college campuses, have announced closures starting Thursday, September 7th and continuing through the weekend.

In the event your testing center is closed, you will be notified via phone or email as noted in the Test Cancellation Policy Link opens pop-up window. This policy also states:

If you miss an appointment that has not been officially canceled due to a test site closing, you will be considered absent and will not receive a refund or transfer of fees, except as noted above in Absentee/No Show Policy Link opens pop-up window.

If you are currently scheduled to test on a date that may be impacted by this storm, we strongly recommend rescheduling your test to avoid the possible dangers that this storm may create. Online registration is available 24 hours a day and is the only method for rescheduling your test appointment.

Test appointments must be rescheduled online at least 24 hours in advance. You can reschedule your test appointment by logging into your account and following the steps listed in Review or Reschedule.

If you are unable to cancel your appointment within the allowable timeframe, please contact Customer Service for further assistance. FTCE/FELE Customer Service is available from 8 am–6 pm EST Monday–Friday and via email 24 hours a day.
