COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update

Test Center Availability in Florida

Florida-based Pearson VUE-owned test centers and most of our college and university partner sites have reopened. Test centers that are open will appear when searching for appointments during the scheduling process.

Expired ID policy:

Effective June 1, 2021, expired IDs will no longer be accepted. You will need to bring two valid and unexpired forms of identification to the test site otherwise you will not be permitted to test. Refer to the Identification Policy for more information.

Mask policy:

Wearing a face mask is required at all Pearson VUE-owned test centers. Other test centers may have their own mask policy. If you have questions about the mask policy at a specific location, please contact the test center directly.

For your health and safety at test centers:

In support of your health and safety and the health and safety of our employees, we will follow recommendations from the CDC and World Health Organization for preventing the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, we ask that candidates comply with the health and safety guidelines outlined on Pearson's COVID-19 webpage opens in a new window. We strongly encourage candidates to review these guidelines before their test appointment for the most up-to-date information.

To schedule or reschedule a test appointment:

Please note that only test centers that are open at the time that you attempt to schedule your appointment will appear in the seat availability tool and during the scheduling process.

In order to reschedule your registration, you must select a new appointment date/time and confirm the reschedule process. If you cancel your registration, you will be required to submit a new registration and applicable payment to test on a future test date.

When searching for an appointment to take your test, we offer the following suggestions:

  • Use the search tool to explore surrounding locations. Checking a wide range of locations will provide more options for your selection.
  • Extend your search to future dates and schedule for an available appointment that meets your needs.
  • Test appointments can be changed with no fee as long as the change is made at least 24 hours in advance of your current appointment and before your registration expires.
  • Additional appointments may become available as test centers adjust their calendars. If you were unable to initially schedule your preferred date, time, and location, check appointment availability frequently and reschedule your appointment to meet your preferences.

If you are ill on the day of your test appointment:

Do not report to the test center. If you miss your appointment due to illness, please review the Absentee/No Show policy, which includes information about requesting a transfer of your test registration.

If you prefer, you may withdraw your registration for a full refund.

Please check the Refund policy for more information.
